What types of fonts does FormReturn support?

FormReturn will only support Windows Compatible TrueType (TTF) fonts. It does not support Mac only TrueType fonts, TrueType font collections (TTC), PostScript Type 1 fonts (PFB) or OpenType fonts (OTF).

If you require a font that is not TrueType (TTF) for your design you can first created the text in a program such as Adobe Illustrator or Inkscape (free), then convert the fonts to paths (select the text and convert to path) and save the file as a Plain SVG file. You can add an SVG image to your forms by clicking the image tool in the program, clicking on the page then select the SVG file you just created. The advantage of using SVG is that since it is a vector format, it retains the quality when scaling and printing. The exported PDF file also retains the vector from the SVG so print quality is good.

If you want to try to convert your fonts to TTF, try out FontForge, available from http://fontforge.sourceforge.net/
